Dear friends, welcome to the second installment of our coverage pertaining to the upcoming new album "W.R.A.T.H." of the Czech thrash-death metal regiment ANTIGOD. Today we shall delve into the genesis of this opus...

...so let us invite you for a rear inspection into the GM Recording Studio, where "W.R.A.T.H." was not only recorded, but also mixed and mastered

On top of that, we shall also continue with presenting the subject-matter of the album, which you already may have some idea about, if you looked closely at the album deal photos we brought you last time. So, the core of "W.R.A.T.H." content are the Czechoslovak Legions, that is, volunteer armed forces that formed during First World War primarily in France, Russia and Italy to fight alongside the Entente powers against Germany and the Austro-Hungarian Empire for an independent Czechoslovak state.

Specifically, "W.R.A.T.H." focuses on the Legions in Russia, whose situation dramatically changed after the October Revolution and a reach of a separate peace accord between the Central powers and Lenin's regime. This lead to a prolonged redeployment of the Legions via the Trans-Siberian Railway to Vladivostok, from where they were finally evacuated.

And it is the stories of those, who took part in this ordeal marked by harsh Siberian climate and frequent clashes with Bolshevik forces, that are reflected in the lyrics of "W.R.A.T.H."

If thus you are also fans of military history, this should be right up your alley. So, enjoy and more next time!
