Dear friends, beside the new arrivals, we are also preparing for you on MetalGate e-shop several thematic events with a special offer of titles. And given that the Autumn gloom is upon us, as well as the time to remember the dead, our premier event is "November Doom", i.e. the month of November dedicated to doom metal in its various forms!

Beside the albums already present in our catalogue, we added many new ones, which merit a closer look:

We begin on the Czech scene that saw earlier this year two stellar doom-related releases. The first one is "Epigrammata" by the doom existentialists Et Moriemur - a brand new album that receives nothing but acclaim as a doom metal diamond that is at the same time not afraid to move beyond the subgenre boundaries. Highly recommended!

Beside the album itself, our catalogue also includes the Epigrammata t-shirt, a band logo mug, and on top of all that we also re-stocked the previous piece "Ex Nihilo In Nihilum" so that we are now offering it both on CD and vinyl (in two colors no less).

The second key release of Czech doom this year is the new full-length "Hlubiny" by the doom/black act Self-hatred. In its case the reviews also bring one praise after another, especially concerning the compositional and instrumental maturity and the overall affective charge of the album. And while at it, we also re-stocked its predecessor, the equally noteworthy debut "Theia". Also highly recommended!

The final piece of our opening triptych is the U.S. mortuary cult Encoffination that seeks inspiration in doom and death metal of the early 1990s. Our catalogue now offers their special creation "Necros Obscuritas" - a this year released compendium of rare and previously unreleased songs. A must for all true collectors!
