Dear friends, one album has just been released, another already looms on the horizon! 16 years after their debut, the Prague-based dark progressive experimental act Demimonde returns with the second chapter of the tale that began on their debut album "Mutant Star" and MetalGate Records will be there to see it through.

Said sequel shall be entitled "Cygnus Oddyssey" and shall be released early September 2016. However, if all goes according to plan, you will have a one-time exclusive chance to get it already in August on the 21st installment of Brutal Assault festival!

Today we thus begin our usual coverage, albeit in a slightly different format than you are used to. We are diving straight in, presenting you a sample from the new album, namelly the song entitled "Event Horizon".

Next we shall cover the album deal signing and recording, then taking a break during the summer to resume our coverage in late August, focusing on the album narrative and visuals, for "Cygnus Oddyssey" is not only a conceptual piece, but also shall be accompanied by a full-fledged graphic novel that prompts a closer look.
