Dear friends, all the best in 2026! To make its onset more appealing, there is more metal literature incoming. When we announced last October, what our label plans on the literature front v.2026-27, we mentioned that the title closest to release is the Czech translation of the official biography of the Suomi metal icon Amorphis, penned by the writer and active musician Markus Laakso. Today, we are happy to follow-up and announce that the book is in the printing plant and if all goes as planned, it will arrive by the month’s end!

Amorphis is one of Finland’s most internationally successful bands and pioneering musical exports. This official and authorized biography covers the first 25 years of the band’s history, from 1990 to 2015, shedding light on the eventful story of Amorphis in a thorough, informative, and entertaining way. All current and former members of the band, as well as several other people from behind the scenes, get to have their say in the pages of this book. The reader is thus up for a magnificent story of friendship, perseverance, ambition and love for music.

As usual, our edition will be in Czech only.
