Dear friends, the 24th ceremony of the Břitva Awards took place two days ago, and again we had some irons in the fire so to speak.

First and foremost, we are delighted that the mortuary split "Sousmrtí" of the Czech black metal tandem Hnus Umírající and NĀV conquered the Minialbum & Split & Single of the Year category! Also entering the fray was the 11th full-length "Paměť kamenů" by the death metal veterans Tortharry that got into the top ten in the Album of the Year - Metal category.

Our/your Czech metal feast MetalGate Czech Death Fest OpenAir managed to keep the previous bronze in the Festival of the Year category, and in the Company of the Year category, we this time took the fifth place.
