Dear friends, welcome to the second installment of our coverage regarding the upcoming split album “Sousmrtí” of Czech black metal dyad of NĀV and Hnus Umírající. Today, let us consider the album art and some other things.
First and foremost, feast your eyes on the frontcover of “Sousmrtí”, authored by the Czech painter Petr “Gordo” Malecký. The overall album layout and graphic design was then taken care of by Kristýna Šmídová. For context, the same two artists were behind the art and design of the debut full-length of Hnus Umírající that we released back in 2019.
Next, we bring you, as usual, the album tracklist. “Sousmrtí” offers in total eight mortuary compositions, three of which (under the aggregate title of “Noc chřestících kotníků”, that is, The Night of Rattling Ankles) are by Hnus Umírající, the other five (under the umbrella of “Henkersknechte”) belong to NĀV. The individual tracks are thus:
Na špiritus nemám, na život už tuplem ne (Hnus Umírající) / Tvář ošlehaná větry (Hnus Umírající) / Noc chřestících kotníků (Hnus Umírající) / Prkna (NĀV) / Nekromant (NĀV) / Kremace (NĀV) / Nyarlathatotep (NĀV) / Postmortální hostina (NĀV)
So, enjoy and more next time!
