Dear friends, the third part of our coverage regarding the upcoming second full-length "Certa Omnibus Hora" by the Czech post-metal/doom quintet The Corona Lantern has arrived. In today's installment, we are taking you behind the scenes of the album's creation.

Join us then in visiting The Barn studio, wherein the piece was recorded, mixed and mastered by the producer Dan Friml.

Here as well are a couple of trivia worth mentioning:

First, the recording was initially scheduled already for April, but the pandemic had a different opinion on the matter. On the other hand, the extra time allowed the band to compose one more song, thus bringing the album tracklist to six items in total.

Second, "old school" was the way to go even here, meaning that the whole recording, as well as mixing, was conducted in analogue manner to achieve maximum rawness and authenticity. So no samples, no triggered drums or other effects. You will thus hear the album exactly the way it was played and recorded in the studio.

So, enjoy an more next time!
